Wrexham Demolition is a specialist contractor, providing its clients with comprehensive services in the demolition, site preparation and remediation fields. Operations are undertaken in accordance with its Quality Assurance Management System which conforms to BS EN ISO 9002:1994 . A new Company Environmental Policy is currently being written in accordance with ISO 14000 . Following formal implementation, accreditation will be sought. Located in Wrexham, the Company is ideally located to serve its Clients in the North Wales area. Although the Company has an enviable safety record, its aim is always improvement and to continually undertake its projects in a safe efficient, environmentally aware and cost effective manner. To ensure this high level of professionalism and reliability, and to demonstrate the high priority given to health and safety matters, environmental issues and training matters, the Company spends a considerable amount of its turnover on personnel, staff training and reinvestment of plant, transport and equipment. Training is continuous with regular in-house and externally set courses attended to extend abilities and keep every employee up-to-date. Staff at all levels, from operative to supervisor, and through to its senior Management are CITB/NDTG trained and certified: senior members of staff being members of the Institution of Demolition Engineers. The introduction of the Construction Design & Management Regulations, 1994, has had a positive impact on the industry by formalising the roles and responsibility of all involved. As a result of the considerable experienced gained, Wrexham Demolition can also offer the role of Planning Supervisor, where we are involved in the project at an early stage. Wrexham Demolition’s investment in training and equipment means it can quickly mobilise suitably trained and experience staff along with a comprehensive up-to-date fleet of specialist plant and transport, and undertake its work with little reliance on outside parties. |
